Two possible participation roles
- Sharing information security assessments organizations have two different roles: Passive participants (eg OEMs, automotive manufacturers): These participants require other organizations (e.g. suppliers) to receive a TISAX assessment, then request the assessment results.
- Active participants or auditees (eg suppliers): They are asked to be audited according to the criteria catalog determined by another organization (eg OEM or customer). Sometimes the organization can take this evaluation on its own initiative. After the evaluation, the active participant grants access to his / her evaluation results to organizations (eg OEMs) of his choice.
